Advanced Paranormal Services was born from a simple idea with a powerful purpose. Our roots go back to the Wasatch Investigative Society for Paranormal Studies (WISPS), a dedicated nonprofit team that has spent years providing free paranormal investigations to the community. Members of WISPS often volunteered their time at events—hosting ticketed ghost hunts alongside celebrity investigators at Comic Con, radio shows, and paranormal conventions.

As large-scale public investigations began to fade, a new vision emerged: what if we created a way for the public to experience real paranormal investigations while also supporting the non-profit work of WISPS? From that vision, Advanced Paranormal Services was formed. By hosting public, ticketed investigations, we provide exclusive access to haunted venues and unforgettable hands-on experiences, while ensuring the funds raised help cover the essential costs of WISPS—from equipment and web hosting to travel and training.

This model has allowed WISPS to remain one of Utah’s longest-serving and most respected paranormal investigation teams. More importantly, it has given countless people the chance to step into the unknown, learn, and experience the paranormal firsthand.
